Q & A

Cobra Men's King F9 Fairway

Overview

  • The 2019 Cobra King F9 fairways are the first to feature a CNC-milled face combined with Speedback Technology to take your game to new heights with speed and stability.
  • Speedback Technology utilizes re-engineered Baffler rails and a low, back tungsten weight to optimize turf interaction and lower the center of gravity for better launch and faster club head speed from any lie.
  • For the first time in a fairway wood, the fully-machined, CNC-milled face creates Cobra's thinnest, hottest, and most precise club face ever.
  • 360° Aero design uses polymer trips on the crown and steel trips on the sole to direct airflow around the club head, reducing drag for faster club head speed.
  • Ultralight carbon fiber crown saves more weight to move the center of gravity lower and deeper to generate higher launch and more forgiveness.
  • A fixed weight is positioned low and back in the club head to create a back center of gravity position that promotes high, towering ball flight and added forgiveness.
  • MyFly8 with Smart Rail design gives you eight adjustable loft settings to customize trajectory and launch conditions while Smart Rail keeps the face square in every launch setting.
  • Cobra Connect powered by Arccos has access to more than 40,000 golf courses to help track performance.
  • The King F9 fairway wood is ideal for all golfers with added precision, speed, and stability along with easy launch and forgiveness every golfer can benefit from in the long game.

Speedback Design

Speedback Design

Speedback Technology uses re-engineered Baffler rails along with a low and back tungsten weight to optimize ground interaction as well as lower the center of gravity for improved launch and more speed for all types of lies.

CNC-Milled Club Face

For the first time in a fairway wood, the industry's only CNC-milled face creates the thinnest, hottest, most consistent and precise face by utilizing a repeatable manufacturing process.

360° Aero Technology

360° Aero Technology

Polymer trips on the crown combine with steel trips on the sole, positioned relative to the direction of airflow around the club head to reduce drag and generate even faster club head speeds.

Ultralight Carbon Fiber Crown

Ultralight Carbon Fiber Crown

The lightweight carbon fiber crown saves discretionary weight and repositions it to create a lower, deeper center of gravity for higher launch and increased forgiveness.

Cobra Mens King F9 Fairway UST Helium 60 is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Address look is very good. Set it At 15.5 straight up. It seams to want to go straight or slight draw without even trying. Distance is shorter than my Taylor Made M2. But only about 15yards or so. But easier to work the ball so I can live with the shorter distance.

What is the difference between a 60 and 70 shaft (or a 6 /7)?

Asked by: Bigdog10
The main difference will be weight. The 60 weight class shaft (60-69 grams) will be lighter and a little bit more flexible. The 70 weight class shaft (70-79 grams) will be a bit heavier.

What is the club head size for? I am looking at cobra F9 and it has option of different club head so I’m not sure what diff does it make

Asked by: Pm
Club heads are measured, by volume, in cubic centimeters with a maximum limit of 460cc. Most drivers are going to be between 440 and 460c. The 440cc drivers are mainly designed for players that like to shape the ball more in the air as they generate different launch conditions compared to 460cc heads which generally offer more forgiveness.
