Cobra Mens King F6+ Driver

Personalized Distance

The greatest attribute of many great attributes when it comes to the F6+ driver is its ability to reduce spin rates. And for those who don’t know, high spin rates kill distance faster than just about anything in golf. The incredibly low spin rates that the F6+ creates are made possible by a number of technological advancements. First, Cobra engineers were able to move the CG to the neutral axis, and the zero CG that the F6+ can claim leads to a high-launch, low-spin ball flight, which is the Holy Grail in terms of driver performance. Additionally, an 18-gram weight can be utilized in five settings along the sole to give players the chance to dial in their ideal launch angle and spin rate, which is one of the keys to distance. But the incredible distance the F6+ delivers also comes from a thin, hot Forged E9 clubface, which supported by Cobra’s Speed Channel structure creates faster ball speeds from impact points across the face. Of note, compared to the F6, the F6+ has a slightly smaller profile and will typically create a slightly flatter ball flight. It also come stock with the Matrix Black Tie, which is a little bit heavier than the Red Tie that comes in the F6 and considered a lower-launching shaft. These design features were made with the better, stronger player in mind as it relates to the F6 series of drivers.

Ideal For:

Low- and/or mid-handicap golfers who are looking for customization to achieve their preferred launch and spin conditions. That is not to say, however, that the F6+ is not forgiving, because as is the case throughout the F6 line, forgiveness is a strength, so this club could be played by a higher-handicapper. But as Cobra readily admits, this driver was designed for the better player, so if you’re on the fence about whether or not the F6+ is the best choice for you, the F6 might be a better option.

Thin-Optimized-Personalized Technology

TOP technology enables a titanium body and lightweight carbon crown that allows weight to be moved to create the zero CG in the F6+.

CarbonTrac System

An 18-gram weight can be positioned in five different settings along the sole to help players achieve their desired launch and spin conditions.

Speed Channel

An exclusive Cobra innovation, the Speed Channel is a trench that surrounds and supports the clubface, which enables a thinner face that increases ball speed from all impact points.

MyFly Loft Technology

Cobra’s adjustable loft sleeve, MyFly loft technology allows for lofts ranging from 9-12 degrees in the F6+ and eight different playability settings, three of which will create a draw bias.

What They're Saying...

“This is one of our two drivers that have what we call zero CG, projected from the center of the face. It’s very exciting in terms of high ball flight with low spin and maximum distance. We added the capability with a track system to have five settings now. It’s really about defining the right ball flight for your game and the right setting for your driver so that your swing feels right, the ball flight is good, and you maximize your performance.”

Tom Olsavsky, Cobra Vice President of Research & Development

“The idea with the Plus is really it’s (for) a slightly better player. It’s a slightly smaller profile at address, a little bit more penetrating flight, a little bit more stout shaft in there. It gives what that better player may want in terms of what F6 offers.”

Tom Olsavsky, Cobra Vice President of Research & Development

What Players Like You Are Saying...

“It really only has one adjustment here but (the weight) just going from the back to the front really changed the way the club came through the hitting zone. For me, with my swing, it worked the best when it was all the way in the back.”

TGW customer Dave, 1 handicap, live testing at Cobra, 3/10/16

“Distance wise, I actually picked up probably about 20 yards from what I normally see. This had the lowest spin numbers I’ve ever seen off any driver. I was actually able, on a couple of swings, to get below 2,000 RPM, which I’ve never seen on any driver I’ve hit before.”
