Q & A
PWRSHELL Face Technology increases ball speed and lowers the CG while creating a thinner, faster, lighter club face. This technology is now included down to the 7 iron. Combined with E9 face technology and a thinner sole section, even your mis-hits go farther.
For the first time even, Cobra placed a lightweight carbon fiber medallion on the back to support the thinner club face, helping fine tune sound and feel. It also saves weight to add speed to your game. "In previous years, this type of weight saving, hollow construction was only in the 4-5 irons but with F8 we have brought this down all the way to the 7 iron," Tom Olsavsky, VP of Research & Development at Cobra Golf.
Cobra uses specific types of grooves in different irons to optimize performance in each club. V-Grooves in the 4-6 irons help reduce spin. U-Grooves in the 7-PW optimize spin for approach shots. Wedge-spaced grooves in the GW and SW provide extra spin around the greens
Cobra Connect sensors are now included in the F8 irons for Cobra's first complete smart set of golf clubs. You get GPS access to more than 40,000 golf courses to help track your game. The sensor records each swing, displaying results on your smart phone. With more access to data, you track your round, improve where you need it, and share and challenge your friends.
The F8 irons feature a lower profile design that lowers the center of gravity for higher launch and greater club head speed. The result? Even more distance.

The Cobra F8 irons are a game improvement iron. If you're the type of golfer looking for forgiving distance, these irons are for you. Carbon Feel Technology even enhances the feel to appeal to a wider audience. Cobra says 5 to 25 handicap golfers with moderate to high swing speeds will really benefit from the F8 irons. By adding an easy-to-hit F8 hybrid, all golfers will get more from this set.
