Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cleveland 588 wedge - great feel in the sand I bought the 56% sand wedge about a month ago. I have used it several times. I have a much better touch with it coming out of traps near the great and chipping form just off the green. the distance is very true, so I know exactly how far I will hit it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great feel and results I bought this club several days ago and first used in in Myrtle Beach. It cuts through the fluff like butter, doesn't dig into the closely mowed fairways, and feels really good in your hands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great wedge for any bag! Recently received this club as a birthday present, and I've already fallen in love with it. Great feel to shots in a variety of conditions and, despite my handicap I definitely feel like I've got way more control to my shots around the green with this club
Date published: 2017-09-28
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great wedge even better price Very responsive and forgiving. Good check up and spin control.

How to determine whether to get 8 or 14 degree bounce on 56 degree wedge. My 60 degree wedge has 8 degrees of bounce. Most of the sand I plan in is firm.

Asked by: Jack32
You will need to be fitted in order to purchase the correct specs for you.

Says USGA Conforming, but on the USGA Website the only 588 wedges that are conforming say "Tour Zip Grooves", what markings do these have to indicate that are conforming?

Asked by: avg_joseph
We have confirmed, this club is a USGA conforming golf club.

The best wedges I ever had were 588's with graphite shafts. Does Cleveland even offer graphite shafts in their wedges any more?

Asked by: Remus351
Unfortunately no, we do not offer this club with a graphite shaft.

What does bounce mean on a wedge?

Asked by: daustin
Bounce is the angle of the sole against the ground when you're set up for a shot. The higher bounce, the less tendency the club will have to dig into the ground.
