  • Rogue X design is lighter weight, longer in length, and have stronger lofts for a total distance overhaul.
  • Rogue X irons are ideal for golfers who want to generate maximum distance.

  • Urethane microspheres provide the sound and feel of urethane without lowering COR or ball speed
  • Tungsten weighting precisely positions the center of gravity in each iron for optimal launch and control in every individual club
  • Rogue X performance package features lighter weight, longer length, and stronger lofts with a wider sole for easy, high launch and long carry
360 Face Cup + Variable Face Thickness

360 Face Cup + Variable Face Thickness

Callaway's renowned 360 Face Cup technology uses a shallow, flexible rim around the face that flexes and releases when the ball is struck to boost ball speed. Variable Face Thickness uses thicker and thinner sections to protect that ball speed even on off-center hits. Together, they expand the portion of the face that delivers fast speed.

Urethane Microspheres

Urethane Microspheres

With the fast ball speed and increased distance of a thin, flexible face, sometimes you lose sound and feel to extra vibration. Urethane helps dampen the vibration but can reduce COR and ball speed. Callaway uses elastic-urethane microspheres to improve sound and feel without losing distance benefits.

Tungsten Weighting

Tungsten Weighting

Tungsten is twice as heavy as steel, allowing Callaway to use significant weight in a small space to precisely place the center of gravity in each iron. This provides optimal launch and control specific to each individual loft.

Rogue X Performance Package

Rogue X Performance Package

Rogue X irons are lighter in weight and longer in length with stronger lofts when compared to the Rogue standard. Wider soles pull the center of gravity low and deep for easy, high launch and longer carry distance. These are total distance irons.

Callaway Men's Rogue X Irons Gap Wedge KBS 90 Steel Stiff Right is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 143.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Clubs But Pay Attention to the Lofts and Distance Gapping I have never understood the disdain for a thick top line or offset, especially if the clubs perform, and the Rogue X irons perform. The ball flight is penetrating, yet these irons deliver stopping power with a good descent angle and plenty of spin. The forgiveness on mishits is quite good, and I have not had the unexpected flyer that sometimes comes with "distance" irons. The feel is exceptional, especially for a cast iron. And despite the top line and offset, they look good, too. The only thing I do not like is the numbering of the irons. Whereas most sets of irons have an A, G, or U wedge for the gap wedge between the sand wedge and pitching wedge, the Rogue X irons have both an A and a G wedge--that is two gap wedges between the sand wedge and the pitching wedge--which bumps the pitching wedge loft up to 9-iron loft, the 9 iron to 8-iron loft, etc. In fact, the lofts on the Rogue X are almost identical to those of the Rogue Pro or Apex CF16 irons, if you ignore the numbers stamped on the bottom of the clubs. Callaway seems to be considering that shaft length determines the number on the iron, but most everybody focuses on the loft. When testing, compare clubs of similar loft, and ignore the number stamped on the bottom. I still noticed a significant distance increase and better performance compared to my old irons of the same loft, ignoring the seduction of the misleading numbering. Except for this unnecessary marketing ploy, everything about the Rogue X irons is exceptional. Just pay attention to what you are getting and how it compares to your old clubs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great forgiving clubs The clubs are great and very forgiving. 3 of the players in my group have bought these since I purchased. The only problem I have is the quality control. I kept notiythat my 7 iron was going as far as my 6 iron. Went to a club fitter and found that the 7 iron loft was 22 degrees instead of 27 listed on the specs. For the price we pay for these clubs they should be as advertised

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 4 iron review I recently added my Rogue-X 4 iron to complete my set. Great club, easy to hit and look forward to heading to the course. A driving range doesn't do it justice.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not happy I went to a demo day and got fitted for irons. First order got mucked up and eventually got my correct order. I have given the clubs a good run but I am left unsatisfied. The clubs don't feel good to hit. They feel very clunky and it is hard to get use to the feel and sound. I have used Callaway clubs for over 20 years and this product has underwhelmed me. The lofts are stronger that is the only reason I hit each club further.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Iron on the Market!! I am 55yrs old have been playing 10 years and last year noticed I had lost my distance on many irons. I bought the 6 iron stiff graphite rogue X and immediately got my distance back (170 yds). I bought the 4-AW and absolutely love them. I am a 10 handicap and play 25-30 rounds a year. Thanks Callaway for saving my game!!!
