Q & A

Overview

  • New urethane microspheres are applied to the club face to improve sound and feel without losing ball speed or COR (energy transfer at impact).
  • Tungsten weighting precisely positions the center of gravity in each club so every iron has the best launch and control possible.
  • Rogue pro irons are designed for better golfers with more workability, control, and impact feedback.

Features

  • 360 Face Cup with Variable Face Thickness technology expands the portion of the club and creates a shallow, flexible rim around the face to boost ball speed on impact
  • Urethane microspheres provide the sound and feel of urethane without lowering COR or ball speed
  • Tungsten weighting precisely positions the center of gravity in each iron for optimal launch and control in every individual club
  • Rogue Pro performance package features a more compact head, thin topline and sole, shallow cavity and minimal offset
360 Face Cup + Variable Face Thickness

360 Face Cup + Variable Face Thickness

Callaway's renowned 360 Face Cup technology uses a shallow, flexible rim around the face that flexes and releases when the ball is struck to boost ball speed. Variable Face Thickness uses thicker and thinner sections to protect that ball speed even on off-center hits. Together, they expand the portion of the face that delivers fast speed.

Urethane Microspheres

Urethane Microspheres

With the fast ball speed and increased distance of a thin, flexible face, sometimes you lose sound and feel to extra vibration. Urethane helps dampen the vibration but can reduce COR and ball speed. Callaway uses elastic-urethane microspheres to improve sound and feel without losing distance benefits.

Tungsten Weighting

Tungsten Weighting

Tungsten is twice as heavy as steel, allowing Callaway to use significant weight in a small space to precisely place the center of gravity in each iron. This provides optimal launch and control specific to each individual loft.

Rogue Pro Performance Package

Rogue Pro Performance Package

The Rogue Pro irons cater to the preferences of the better golfer with a compact head, thinner topline and sole, shallow cavity and minimal offset. They're designed to increase workability, trajectory control, and feedback along with lofts that are slightly weaker than Rogue standard.

Callaway Men's Rogue Pro Irons #3-PW TT XP-105 Steel Regular Right is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 85.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Bought 3 weeks ago and loving them. Sent some AP2 Titliest back. These have the extra power to make them a complete iron for a 4 handicapper at age 49. Might just try out for The Masters next year.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from No quality control. I have been buying callaway Clubs for years, unfortunately, the Callaway plant in Mexico doesn't believe in quality control. You can add another $100 to the cost to have the clubs checked. If you order loft, lie, grip and length changes, there's a good chance something will be wrong. I wish Callaway would certified the changes and save us the expense of having to check their work. I still think they are the best clubs in golf. Hire a quality control person please.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still new I haven't played too many times with these irons but I am hitting them a good 10 yards farther than my Callaway Pro X irons I had been using for 10 years. I seems even my off-center hits are traveling much further as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Irons I've Ever Had I recently purchased a set of Rogue Pro irons. Love them! I hit the 4 Iron so well that I decided to add a 4 Iron to my set and ditch the last of my old hybrids.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Might be nice if they came as ordered Recently purchased 6-GW set with PX LZ 105 5.5 shafts. Standard length, loft. 1* upright lie angle. Struggled with inconsistent strikes and distances for 8 rounds and 5 range sessions Only the 6 and 8 irons were correct length and Swing weight. All others were 3/8” to 1/2” short. Had them measured by the shop I ordered through. They said they’d never seen a set come in so far off. I really wanted to like them, but with them so off, I couldn’t tell for sure. All misses were either thin or off the toe, except the 6 and 8 irons. Fortunately they have a 90 day playability deal, so I ordered some XForged. Hopefully the come properly assembled.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rogue Pro Irons Started off with a set of Rogue irons. After having the XHOT Pro's it felt like a step down. I traded to the Rogue Pros and there was a world of difference. Great solid irons. Great feel. I'll stick to Callaway for a while
