Callaway Chrome Soft X Truvis White/Red Golf Balls

Exceptional Distance And Feel With Enhanced Workability

Special holiday price from Callaway!

Chrome Soft golf balls have been an incredible success for Callaway since being originally introduced late in 2015, as golfers of all ability levels have been thrilled to find a ball that feels so soft yet still offers tour-proven performance on full shots and around the green. In an effort to continue to push the envelope and make premium golf balls that fit every player, Callaway has created the new Chrome Soft X, which was played extensively as a prototype on professional tours in 2016. Compared to Chrome Soft, the new Chrome Soft X will have a slightly firmer feel (90 compression as compared to 75) and it will produce more spin with the irons, which gives players an enhanced ability to work the ball. Golfers can also expect a more piercing ball flight with Chrome Soft X when compared to Chrome Soft, which delivers naturally high, straight flight conditions. That said, players can expect the same explosive distance off the tee from Chrome Soft X that Chrome Soft provides, thanks to its proprietary Dual SoftFast Core, as well as exceptional spin and control around the greens, a result of the ball’s Tour Urethane cover. Additionally, Truvis Technology is hleping players improve focus by providing maximum golf ball visibility.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Callaway Chrome Soft X Truvis White/Red Played a couple rounds with the callaway soccer balls and was really impressed with the distance, durability, and constancy. Gave one to a golfing buddy then he went out and got his own box of these balls.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value for a low compression ball. Good for slower SS This ball is a low compression ball and if you have a swing speed of 99+ with a driver , then you may want to reconsider the hex soft. It definitely flies straight , however, because of the low compression the ball drops out of the sky with the driver. Compared to a TM tour preferred X I was losing 10 yds off the tee. (Will try the chrome soft next.) On the flip side, my approach shots were flying the pin by a club. Go figure. The iron shots from 170yds and in were easily 1 full club longer. This is only my observation. I play to a 4.1 index, 3 times a week. Tees 6800yds. Slope 133. Driver SS is 102-3 mph total driving distance avg 275yds. 9 iron 150 yds, hope this helps. NOTE... Slower SS will certainly benefit in a gained total distance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loooong Ball I have played many different golf balls including the New Callaway Chrome which I LOVE, BUT I must say that I have found a longer straighter ball with ALMOST as good of a feel as the New Chrome. It is the Hex Soft (two piece ball). The Hex Soft is Looong and as advertised it is a straight ball. The only thing I have had any noticeable difference with this ball is that it will not stop as quickly on iron shots into the green. It will hop forward after landing on a green and roll forward about 5 feet sometimes just a little more. But it holds much better than ALL the other two piece balls I have played. My home course is soft poanua greens in San Jose, CA. When I play Poppyhills in Monterey this ball doesn't hold the greens as well because they are hard and fast Bentgrass greens. About twice as much roll out after hitting their greens. Hitting the ball higher helped tremendously. Chipping around the greens it has surprisingly good feel and does stop almost as quickly as the New Chrome. Putting is very good and a true roll. My goal is to drive the ball as far as possible so that I can hit the shortest iron as possible into every green. What a difference that makes when I'm playing well. 12 to 13 greens in reg. and your breaking 80. This is a great ball that gave me a solid 10 yards on my drives and straighter. A good feel on my irons (just a little less feel than the New Chrome). Good/Decent around the greens with wedges (New Crome is better). Putting feel and roll are good and true. This game is all about hitting greens in regulation and this ball has helped me achieve that. I switched from ProV1x (great ball but you gotta crush it with the driver), to the New Chrome (and I LOVED the New Chrome), and now the Callaway Hex Soft. I'm not changing this ball it's just long and that makes scoring easier with shorter irons into the greens. I really hope my detailed review helps you. I love helping others enjoy this game and I am not an instructor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The New Long Ball I played this ball last Saturday and I gained 10 yards. The ball felt great off my driver and irons. Hitting my approach shot the ball preformed very well. If you're the weekend golfer whos swing speed its that high like mine but you want distance and a ball to preform around the greens this is the ball. I will be ordering another box from Callaway since not in stores yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For this price this ball is incredible. I'm amazed how well this ball plays. I found a Hex Soft on the first hole it looked brand new so I hit it off the next tee. With a slight draw it stopped 280 yards away. The ball works great around the greens and puts very well. Even when miss hit the ball is forgiving. For a ball in this price range it really excels in most areas. For a guy with a 14.5 handicap like me its all I needed to get me scoring in the high seventies to low eighties on a par 68 course.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really great ball for the price This ball is great for the price point. Can really get good feel around the green and not lose distance.
