Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great swing excercise Good to use prior to stepping up to the first tee. Also regular use stretches muscles and helps to groove your swing. Too long to use indoors; step out on to the back porch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Good Swing Aid The swing trainer is a worthy addition to anyone's bag. It serves as an excellent way to warm up prior to your round and I found it to be quite helpful when using it between clubs on the range. It took about 3 weeks, but I finally found my groove and I am swinging my clubs better than at any other point this year. Note: I got this swing trainer at a 20% discount giving it even more value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent training club Easily puts my swing on the correct plane during practice and warmup. My shots are more accurate with only one week of use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Straightened my ball filght I had a tendancy to push my ball to the right with my irons. The Momentus Swing Trainor fixed that. I do have to re-evaluate my club selection now as I'm not only hitting the ball straighter I'm also hitting it further.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What an awesome training aid Has certainly helped me with my swing plane as well as building strength overall. Great training for the winter months in Montana. When I went to the driving range I was hitting my irons way further with confidence and a smooth swing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great training aid! This club will help your swing
Date published: 2008-02-25
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best training aid ever The Momentus Swing Trainer has helped my game to become even better by hitting pure shots with effortless effort. Also, I look forward to training with the Momentus due to its ease for training for less than 10 minutes a day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for developing muscle memory The Momentus Swing Trainer is a fabulous training aid! It gets you to place the club in the right position and develops muscle memory. I feel that it has helped me strike the ball a little more solidly than I did before I started using it. Plus, with the winter months coming on, I'll still be able to keep a semblence of a swing so I won't start the season completly out of sync.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Swing Trainer I have used that delivers results. I have used different swing trainers and the Momentus is the best. Before I started using the Momentus my handicap was around 20, but since using the Momentus I have already taken 5 off my handicap. If you follow the instructions in the DVD that commes with the Momentus you should see results within a few weeks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for wrist exercises Really good product - specially for wrist exercises and to swing indoors. You lose a little feel after swing this so make sure not to do it and then go and play without several practice swings or hitting a few range balls.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MOMENTUS, A GREAT TOOL The Momentus golf trainer is the best tool that I have found in the market to allow build up muscle memory and in-door training. The heavy club tells you when you are "off plane" and also is a great aid to develop the right muscles that control the club during the swing. I allways carry a Momentus in my golf bag and it is key for warming up previous to a golf round or in between a practice session at the driving range.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Practice Aid This is a great practice aid. It's a weighted club that is short enough to swing indoors during the winter months. Great for working on your game in the off-season!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Momentus Swing Trainer is great for stretching too In addition to the training benefits illustrated in the easy to follow DVD, the Momentus Swing Trainer is an excellent tool for keeping your large muscle groups stretched and limber during the off-season. Just swing slowly and exagerate slightly and you can feel the benefit to the back and shoulders.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great swing trainer, awesome to warm up with I have only used the Momentus Swing Trainer for a couple weeks. Due to the extra warm weather we have had, I've been able to play 3 rounds in a week and can notice an improvement. My shots are holding true and ball striking feels greatly improved. This is the best thing I've used for warming up and getting loose. That's on top of the benefits of ingraining the proper swing. I would definitely recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Something that I wanted for a long time. Nothing wrong with the idea. The swing trainer is everything that it advertises and very clearly doesn't have any surprises associated with it. Moreover, it is a quality product. But, its price is probably not consistent with its returned value. I would have certainly purchased one several years ago, if it was roughly 1/2 price than what I paid for it. But, I like it, none-the-less.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Weighted Club to use prior to playing The Momentus Swing Trainer works very well before playing a round of golf. Due to the weight of the club it is like swinging 3 clubs to warm up prior to hitting balls on the range or playing a round of golf. As of yet I have not figured out how it can be used as a training device. Using it every day might strengthen the muscles you will use playing golf.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good All-Rounder This is an excellent aid for pre-round warm up. It's also good for improving technique although I use it in conjunction with others teaching aids.
Date published: 2006-11-10
Rated 4 out of 5 by from More than just a weighted club I bought this to use as a weighted club. But the DVD and training grip have helped it be a swing aide. I am hoping this will help maintain muscle memory thru the winter and I will be ready to go in the spring.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good training tool I really like the way the momentus helped me loosen up before a round and with the weighted nature of the club it seemed to help with keeping me on plane. If you are off plane it will let you know it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best training aid I've purchased so far! I started to see results and improvement almost immediately. It's a great way to lossen up before a round and helps improve turn, tempo, etc. I really like piece of training equipment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Muscle Memory for your swing I tried the momentus as a way to keep my swing in the correct plane for my irons and it worked great. It has helped me to hit my irons much better with much better ball contact. It is also an ideal way to loosen up before starting a round of golf.
Date published: 2006-10-16
Rated 4 out of 5 by from definitely helps I go to the first tee feeling a lot more relaxed and lose. Clubs feel so light and easy to control after a couple swings with the momentus. it's the 14th club in my bag right now

Rated 5 out of 5 by from even more help I'm sure these are helping. I even enjoy using them.
Date published: 2006-09-10
Rated 5 out of 5 by from helping already I stink, but these things are helping me make a quantum leap to mediocre.
Date published: 2006-09-10
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Training Tool The Momentus swing trainer is something that all golfers should have and use. I watched the video (about 15 minutes) and then used the trainer. Instant results! It really helps keep your swing on-plane and with the help of the video, breaks your swing down for easier repeatibility. I carry it in my car and use it to warm up before playing a round.
Date published: 2006-09-05
Rated 4 out of 5 by from I think the lighter the better on the Momentus. Don't be macho and get the heaviest one - you won't use it. A little goes a long way.
Date published: 2006-08-28
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Swing Trainer Best swing trainer I have ever had. I am kicking myself that I didn't purchase it sooner.
Date published: 2006-08-05
Rated 4 out of 5 by from I'm left handed so I didn't have the option of the molded grip which I think would had helped, also having athritis the standard grip will need to be replaced with a mid-size or larger, other than that it has defintely improved my golf swing.
Date published: 2006-06-29
Rated 4 out of 5 by from worth trying for half the price of momentus good substitute for the Momentus at half the price. a litttle shorter than the Momentus and doesn't come with the instructional video like Momentus, I guess that's the price differential.

What is the difference between the Momentus Signature Tour Iron and the Tour Iron - Men?

Asked by: Dave
The Momentus is a revolutionary swing trainer. The club shaft embodies most of the weight which is evenly distributed throughout the length of the shaft. The momentum causes the club to swing along a balanced and proper swing plane. Through repetitions with the Momentus, a golfer establishes the feel for swinging the club on-plane. This leads to a substantial improvement in consistency and club head speed. The main difference with the 2 models is the weight. The Signature tour iron is the heavier of the two models it is 35" in length and weighs 48oz, whereas, the Tour Iron, also with a 35" length comes in at 40oz.
