Rated 5 out of 5 by from Safe to use indoors during the winter months. The main reason for my purchase was so I can practice during the cold winter months when outdoor play is out of the question.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mechanic Building Dynamo After getting back into golf from an injury (almost 15 years since my last round), I immediately went out and did a round with some family without hitting the driving range or anything first. What a fiasco. Golf surely isn't like never forgetting to ride a bicycle. Everything was messed up in every aspect of my mechanics. I grabbed a pack of these things and worked relentlessly on those mechanics… INDOORS… to the point of being able to strike it well and straight again. Granted they weren't full-out cuts at the ball, because my wife would probably take issue with divots all over our carpeting, but I can assure you that whipping the club at nearly 100 mph these balls have not damaged anything in my house. I've even blasted them into my glass French-doors on a few occasions to show my wife they were harmless. However! Learning to hit the ball straight again has come at a price. When this happens (hitting it straight) and the ball meets the cabinets just right and comes back at you, it WILL sting a bit when you get whacked in the face by it. lol I've been afraid to use them outdoors because my yard is rather shallow—perhaps 100 yards—with nothing but woods around; and reading about how far these can and will go, I don’t want to lose any of them. Brightly colored orange or not, hiking through nature to find them isn't my idea of fun so they are exclusively-- and safely-- used indoors. This is a fantastic product in my opinion, and the material, as some have already stated, is almost exactly the same as the Nerf products out on the market; if anyone is curious. It’s an incredible and paltry investment on being able to fine tune your game. * As a side note, I've been working with the same ball for weeks with no signs of wear or discoloration. They don't leave marks on anything they hit (indoors) either. All around spectacular product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good practice balls Though these go a little farther than plastic "wiffle" style practice balls, they mimic impact and have a good sound (feedback) when hit correctly. I would recommend to anyone living in an urban area having a smaller yard such as myself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product-feels like real golf ball on contact I bought these practice balls only after hitting them at a friends house. Great product! Feels like a real ball on the club face when you strike them. Bought them with the Tour Striker Pro training club because I was afraid to use that club in my garage with a real ball. After seeing that I could hit the Tour Striker club with these practice balls, I moved on to real golf balls and was relaxed enough to get the benefit of the training club. You can also chip these balls indoors and not worry about breaking anything. They are made with a NERF like material, but still feel real. Great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are great! They are firm foam rubber and I have not had any deform or fall apart and I've had some for well over a year. They fly similar to real golf balls, but then stop very short, having a maximum flight distance of about 50 meters or so. They react to slices and draws like real golf balls to a noticeable degree. I have tried the wiffle balls and the foam covered ping pong type practice balls and they're flight distance is so short it's hard to get a good impression of your shot path and effective range.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Ptractice balls These are great practice balls for outdoors and indoors i use them in my makeshift basement driving range and the feel is great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for working on swing at home. Good feedback, they will slice or hook if not hit properly. Unlike the wiffle type balls or the the none dimpled foam type.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great practice balls. Feel real. Distance is perfect. Not too long, but not to short.

What is the distance versus a regular ball

Asked by: Tom Deaner
These are plastic practice golf balls, ideal for indoor practice, so distance will be significantly less than a regular golf ball.
