Cobra Golf Club Reviews
While Cobra might be best known for its relationship with PGA Tour superstar Rickie Fowler, this is a company that’s doing impressive things from an R&D standpoint. And all of the hard work is paying off, as Cobra’s 2016 product lines are piling up excellent reviews. TGW was in Carlsbad, California in early March for a visit to Cobra. We had plenty of questions for the company’s engineers, as well as a couple of our customers along with us to do some product testing. It was an informative day given all that we learned about all of Cobra’s new clubs, and we came away impressed. But “impressed” would be an understatement for our customers.
Cobra Golf Club Types
While it might not garner the attention that some other manufacturers do, Cobra has been riding a wave of success in recent year when it comes to drivers, which has been made possible by some impressive work from the company’s research and development team. Not surprisingly, however, golfers have been paying attention and putting Cobra drivers into play more often.
Cobra has seen its fairway wood and hybrid market shares increase dramatically in recent years by developing products that are easy to launch and reduce spin rates for maximum distance. Additionally, the return of Baffler Technology is giving players fairways and hybrids that are offering better turf interaction from any lie condition and more forgiveness on mis-hits.
In terms of delivering an incredibly comprehensive iron lineup, Cobra has outdone itself. It has irons that will meet the needs of the best golfers in the world and irons that will help beginners develop a love for the game. And best of all, regardless of what set of irons players choose, they’re going to get a commitment from Cobra to a clean, classic look and solid feel.
