PING Mens Anser Drivers

Adjustable Driver Allows Golfers To Fine-Tune Trajectory

The Anser driver is PING's first adjustable driver, offering golfers the ability to fine-tune their trajectory through a combination of loft adjustment and shaft selection. The process is called Trajectory Tuning. With its low-spin head, the Anser driver represents a fully optimized design solution that generates ideal trajectories for maximizing distance and accuracy.

PING Mens Anser Drivers feature:

  • Lofts: 8.5 • 9.5 • 10.5 • 12.0
  • Trajectory Tuning allows the golfer to add or subtract ½ degree of loft beyond the standard setting
  • 460cc head is made of Ti 8-1-1, a light, low-density alloy, and has a dark non-glare matte finish
  • Rear sole weight positions the center of gravity back and slightly lower
  • Produces a mid-high launch that adds to distance and forgiveness
  • Low spin design minimizes sidespin for improved accuracy
  • Natural head rotation promotes square impact
  • Shafts: PING TFC 800DAldila PhenomFujikura Blur RedMitsubishi Diamana 'ahina 70
  • Available in Regular • Soft Regular • Stiff • X-Stiff

PING Drivers...Hear The Difference, Feel The Power

PING Mens Anser Drivers 4.1 5 17 17
After leaving PING, I'm so glad to be back!!! I've been a PING user for a long time starting with the TiSI Tec, the G15, i15 and G20. Then I switched to a number of Taylormade drivers and recently Titleist 913 D3 with the Diamana Whiteboard shaft. The Titleist was great but I felt I started to lose distance and the head was not as forgiving as my game would like. I have not been this genuinely excited about a club for a long time. I love the look, feel and sound of this club as well as the awesome matte black finish. The PING Anser is extremely long and easy to hit. The Diamana Ahina shaft fits my game perfectly and obviously brings my spin numbers down. I can tell by my longer distance and more penetrating ball flight. Look forward to an excellent season and more fun with the PING Anser in my bag. July 8, 2014
Excellent shaft While the Anser driver is good, the combination of the G25 head (which I already had) and the Blur shaft that came in the Anser is better for me. Both drivers are good as they come but the forgiveness of the G25 head combined with the upgrade of the Blur shaft for me was best. A slight left to right shot I can count on every time and some run out, great trajectory. September 2, 2013
Love it Right now I am about a 10 handicap and have been playing with and loving my Titleist 983e w/ Aldila NV-65s shaft for about 8 years with no plans to buy anything new. However i figured there have probably been some pretty major advances in technology in that time, so I decided why not demo a few of the newer drivers and see what happens. I demoed the new Titleist and the Ping Anser at my local golf shop in the computerized booth. First I recorded some baseline numbers with my old driver which was coming in on average around 260 yards. Then I hit the new Titleist without a whole lot of improvement, but some. Next I hit the Ping Anser... Wow. My numbers with the Anser were consistantly 10-15 yards longer, with a much lower spin rate. Thats all I needed to know... Sold. I've played three rounds with the Anser 8.5 with the Fujikura shaft. The computer numbers didn't lie. I am consistently crushing the ball with this driver and probably the most notable difference is the forgiveness. There seems to be almost no penalty for a slight miss hit with respect to distance. This club is a beast. Buy it. July 12, 2013
Just didn't work for me I know a number of others who bought the same driver and had great results so I took the leap. I hit it ok but it just didn't do much for me. I only played a few rounds with it but I really saw little to no improvement over my current Ping rapture driver. For that kind of investment I expected a large noticeable improvement and I didn't see it, so I returned it for credit. It is a nice club, excellent quality and others may find it to be a great fit, just not for me. June 4, 2013
