Faster Swing Speeds. Faster Ball Speeds. More Distance & Consistency!
An emphasis on speed with no sacrifice in performance sets the new PING G30
Drivers apart. To generate faster clubhead speed and ball velocity for longer
drives, turbulators were engineered onto the crown of the 460cc heads. Proven
in wind-tunnel testing to reduce aerodynamic drag and create efficient airflow,
the added speed from Turbulator Technology provides measurable distance gains
for all skill levels. At address, they create a captured appearance with the
ball and assist with alignment and inspiration.

PING G30 Driver... The Future Of FAST!
PING Mens G30 Driver
Straighter & Longer
I demo'd the G30 last Wednesday and bought it thursday. I was not looking for a new driver, quite happy with my SLDR (adjusted to max draw). Every shot with the G30 was 10-20yards longer and I hit more fairways. What a nice surprise. I've enjoyed it so much, I started trying to hit it harder. If I now drive it 260 yds, I thought 280 is not far behind. Anyway, I pulled my shoulder muscle and my game went out the window. Finally, a week later my game is back. Be careful when you start using it, swing it NORMALLY!

I know. Every year it's the same thing. the latest and greatest big stick will add 10, 20, 30 yards to every drive without changing your swing....right? Well as I'm getting older, I've been noticing that my drives have been getting a little shorter each year. And each year I've looked to technology as a fountain of youth. I've tried the SLDR, Big Bertha, and even my good old G25. All about the same, and in each case I changed the shaft to a lighter weight low torque version because the stock shafts in most of the newer drivers are for a 30 something mid handicapper. Then I tried the new PING G30 and I can honestly say that is nice to see a club that lives up to it's hype. They make a big deal about the "turulators on the top of the club head, but I think it's the high balance point shaft that makes this club a winner. I found around ten yards and it's great in the forgiveness category as well. First time out found 12 fairways and only missed the other two by a few yards. Makes me feel young again!!!

Reduced my approach shots by one full club.
I am not one to normally provide comments on products purchased. I have purchased virtually every Ping Driver since the G2. However, whatever they did to the G30 Driver, it works! After buying on the first day available in our area, I used the G30 over the weekend to play 54 holes. I was consistently getting 10-15 yards more per drive on solidly struck drives. When I tested the G30 on the monitor in the store, I was swinging 3-4 miles per hour faster than my Cobra Encore HL. I am normally at 102-103 MPH with driver. I was getting 103-107 MPH with G30. I know some of the comments shared on these reviews sometimes seem unbelievable. I have played golf for over forty years, and this is really the first time I have been excited about the results of a new club. Ping Really has something here.
