Did not work out of the box Opened the box and the farming did not work. Very frustrated with tgw very slow on handling the return. Not sure if will buy more there again July 11, 2014
Just one Drawback... Bought this thing because it was small and light enough for a pocket. There is a design flaw, in my view at least. Unlike a cell phone, there is no sleep or lock button, so the device is still active in your pocket, and can be in a different place when you pull it out, requiring extra keystrokes to get it back to where it should be. The golf equivalent of butt dialing or pocket dialing, if you will. Other than that, and the high price, it works great. Love the scoring stats - best & average score on each hole over time for each course and the dream score (tallies your best score on each individual hole to calculate your dream round). May 14, 2014
Good GPS if you have the money. I've played 3 rounds at my local course and it has matched the same distances as my previous GPS, a Skycaddie GS5, and my Bushnell laser range finder. It's pretty quick to pick up signal and list the course to start play. The slope and club selection features can be turned off. I have not used the club selection feature yet but the slope feature works maybe 3/4s of the time. (I play a course that is hilly on the front nine and flat on the back nine.) There is enough battery power to play 3 rounds easily. I like the hole by hole graphics better than the SG5. Linking up to wifi is easy for downloading updates but I could not get it to link via the USB cord to my computer running Windows 7 and the Garmin Express program. I haven't tried linking it to my mobile phone via bluetooth yet. For general use I think I like it better than my old SG5. Price-wise I like it much better than the SG5 due to paying Skycaddie's yearly fees. That alone could make up for the high price over 3-4 years of use. April 21, 2014
