The 17-4 stainless steel PING i25 irons deliver forgiveness and distance
with control to inspire confident shot-making. In the progressive set design,
the long irons are designed with head sizes and sole widths that deliver high
trajectory and extreme forgiveness. The more compact mid and short irons have
narrow soles and less offset for enhanced accuracy and scoring.
Narrow face-stabilizing bars in the long irons increase ball velocity for
added distance and height while wider bars in the short irons produce a controlled,
lower ball flight with softer feel. The careful design details in the clubs
shape and set progression are captured with an inspiring foggy chrome finish.
Tungsten weighting in the low toe increases forgiveness. A machined face and
grooves deliver control and consistency.

PING...Hear The Difference, Feel The Power
PING Mens i25 Irons
Replaced a set of Ping G2's from 2003. The G2's replaced a set of EYE2's. Playing for 30 yrs now and this is my third set of irons - all ping - these are by far the best - soft feel at impact, great weight balance with the perfect blend of forgiveness and workability. Don't like them - love them!!!,

These i25 irons were an upgrade from the G2 set I've been using since taking up golf in earnest three years ago. With my handicap worked down from 24 to 10, I became interested in having a little more "feel" with my clubs. I replaced my G2 wedges with the Tour Gorge 47, 54 & 60. The Tour wedges gave me exactly what I had hoped for, so I then looked to the i25 irons for a comparable upgrade, which they have proven to be. For both lines, "Player's club with meaningful forgiveness features" is an excellent description. Forgiveness is considerable; but, the offset is minimal. Highly recommended -- if your game is ready for them.
Purchasing Ping clubs from TGW is a great experience, particularly if you need custom fitting, and know your specs. My G2 set had been fitted back in '04 (I played a little, then put the clubs in the closet for several years) and I remained happy with the fit. When I began playing walking golf two years ago, I took a hard look at my 14 clubs; I now play a 10 club set. 'Point is, through TGW, I was easily able to order just the 4, 6 & 8 irons that I wanted, with my specs for length and lie angle. (Also in the bag, and recommended: Rapture driving iron, G25 driver and 4w, Grayhawk putter.)
Do your research, get the right clubs for you. You'll be glad you did.

The i25's live up to the hype. The clubs are excellent. My set were custom made with 1/32 Ping ID8 Grips (gold) and Rifle Project X 5.5 shafts. This customization was the result of an iron club fitting. I will say that I was disappointed that Ping charged $35 per shaft ($280 total for 3-PW), but the end result is what mattered. I am very happy with these clubs and plan to use them a lot for a long time.
