MP-4 Forged Irons... Decisive Feel And Incredible Ball Control!
Mizuno Mens MP-4 Forged Irons
Best Iron I will probably ever own
I'm a 18-20 handy cap. I like to say I make it to the green/area in two shots but have but tend to 3 put everything. I was in the market to replace my cavity back "game improvement" irons with an iron that would give me the feel I wanted. I took my time researching about 10 different irons I wanted to try. I was looking for a little less cavity more of a blade so to speak. I've heard Mizuno, Nike, Taylormade and Callaway make very good irons so I ran the gamut of their top choices. Surprisingly the MP4's were not on my list Mizuno. I thought the other MP's would be what I would like. This is where I will say, you have to hit your clubs and multiple styles before you buy. Because the MP4's were truly like butter. I was so impressed with the feel that I had to take a step back and ask myself if "I, Dan,,, could really hit and love a full blade." It's traditionally said that a blade is harder to hit. But in the case of the MP4's, I would beg to differ. They are really amazing. I couldn't be happier and I'm looking for excuses to go golf.
These are a must try for anyone who wants to feel their shot. What I mean is, your ball will fly the same distance and maybe a little farther then your current irons. But you will now "feel" why you hit it 10 yards less then the last time. It actually helps you fix problems. My old clubs would feel the same no matter were the ball hit. But all the sudden the ball would fly 1 yards less.
A must try for -5 to 20 handy caps. DONT BE AFRAID TO TRY THE BLADE!!!
P.S sorry for spelling and grammer mistakes.

They will teach you to hit the ball, if you let'em
Started with JPX 800 HD's and an index of 20, got to a 16 with the 800's. Edwin Watts was going out of business and they had a set of these at an unbelievable price. I was warned against the purchase due to the high index but I said "So what" the price was too good and I figured I could resell them and not lose a dime. The first month was brutal but I stayed with them and taught myself to hit the ball and what a payback. The feeling you get with these clubs is something I can't explain. They say it feels like butter but that is not quite it. It is pure unadulterated double happiness. Plus the feedback you get with mishits is instant training. These clubs will make you a better player. Proof... I am now a 10 on my way to breaking eighty. There is no way these clubs are leaving my bag. If you love the game and want to be a better player, buy them , stay with them and become a better golfer.

Wasn't a real Mizuno fan until now
I wanted to splurge on a new set of irons but I've always had Nike. The irons felt soft and I was able to get feedback. Since Nike VR Pros weren't at the store, it came down to Titleist and Mizuno vs. my Nike forged blade. The Mizuno felt like my Nike but on mis-hits the Mizuno won hands down.
If you're ball striking is consistent and you want to make a change from cavity backs, try the MP-4's out. You won't be disappointed

A true shot makers club
I played the MP33 for over 10 years and decided that since I was over 40 that I should play a more forgiving cavity back club..I played offset cavity back irons for about 4 years and consistently shot higher scores but gained the distance I wanted to keep up with the college players. I haven't shot a round under par since. The MP4 has given me my shot shaping ability back to hit more quality shots into the greens. I have played 5 rounds with them and have had 3 rounds under par. I am now looking forward to turning 50. Distance isn't everything for me. No, they are not stupid long like the current distance irons on the market today. If you want distance order them 2* stronger lofts. The MP4 is the best "Feeling" iron I have ever played, and for a true blade it is very forgiving. The short irons have a compact head that just sets up perfectly. The mid irons grind allow for super smooth turf interaction. I chose the MP H4 for my long irons as they gave me a 2 degree higher launch with better spin for greater distance control.
Give up on all the gimmick irons on the market today and play the game the way it was meant to be played by creating precise swings for precise shots.
Get custom fit, don't ever buy off the rack. Having the right shaft, flex, length, and lie is detrimental to hitting a pure shot. Mizuno will build your clubs in 2 days and ship. They have the best custom department in the business.
