TaylorMade Mens SLDR Golf Drivers
TaylorMade's Longest. That You Make Even Longer!
The New TaylorMade SLDR 460cc Driver features a weight bar near the front of
the sole that allows players to "slide" weight towards either the heel or the
toe of the golf club, creating a draw or fade bias depending on which of the
slots the weight is set in. For ultimate versatility the SLDR incorporates multiple
weight positions between draw and fade for precise tuning. Furthermore;
the 12-position hosel allows for adjustments in loft up to 1.5° for best possible
trajectory and distance.

very happy with the high loft driver right out of the box. I would recommend others to loft up.

If you are considering this club I would definitely go with a loft that is atleast a degree higher that what you think you need. For myself I have the club set 2 degrees higher than my previous driver(R11). In the three rounds that I have played with the club my drives have been going just as far if not further than my R11. The sound and feel of the club is very different from my R11 and the R1. The interesting thing I have found is the off center hits feel much worse than my R11 but travel noticeably further. At the end of the day I don't care what the miss hits feel like if they are going almost as far as solid ones.

Taylor Made says that the SLDR driver is the best driver ever, but in reality it is noting special. If you want a LONG and ACCURATE driver look no further than Callaway Golf.

It IS longer....I'll give it that.
I'm new to the adjustable driver era. It's difficult to give a fair review of this driver because I haven't quite adjusted to it yet. I will say this, it definetly IS longer. 15 yards for real. The adjustability is really easy even though I still hit a low draw with it set to maximum loft and maximum fade. I'm certain that it is the Indian and not the arrow.
