Callaway Forged Mack Daddy 2 Chrome Wedges
Callaway Forged Chrome Golf Wedges
Tour-Tested Design With More Spin And Versatility
Roger Cleveland combined Tour players' feedback on shape and feel with an
aggressive groove pattern and increased surface roughness to create the Callaway
Forged Chrome wedge, an unparalleled scoring club.
solid wedge which will sharpen your game
I had not been looking at Callaway for any golf clubs until I played a round with a friend who had picked up two Mack Daddy 2 wedges. Neither did he play Callaway Irons or woods.
These wedges feel heavier which I like, you can get good feel around the green but also hit a full wedge without the club feeling like a feather.
The grooves are the most solid I have seen, getting the extra action on the ball from the rough around the greens and you will stop the ball faster then any wedge you have tried. I have the C grind 14 bounce on 56 and 60 degrees.
I can recommend you test this wedge next time you go by a pro shop. Don't buy the wedge before testing it.
You will be happy you did.

Improved short game!
I was struggling in the range between my pitching wedge and lob wedge. Decided to get an approach wedge. I had the mack daddy 2 chrome lob wedge already, and loved it. This approach wedge is no different. Definitely has improved that in between shot for me.

Not the square grove grip of the past.
Does not compare to the old square grove clubs for check on the greens. This club seem to swing a little heavy to me. I could get used to it however my other wedges are the old Mack Daddy clubs and this does feel a little different.
I would recommend testing different wedges for optimal spin rates.

Best wedge I have ever owned
From the first time I hit it, it feels as if the balls grabs the face, I'm always worried about the ball running up the face but not with this wedge. I can hit all the shot around the green, open the face up and blast out of the bunker with confidence. The distance is a few yards longer than my X Forged wedge which I have to adjust to or get rid of my PW and carry 4 wedges which I'm seriously considering. (46, 50, 54, 58).
