SkyGolf SkyWatch GPS SkyCaddie
Not a bad investment
I normally carry a range finder, but it becomes a bit of a pain trying to line up the flag and sometimes leaving it in the cart after I finish my round. I purchased the Skygolf watch and have been pretty much satisfied with it. I’ve played 2 rounds with it and it does what it advertises. I compared the distances between the watch and the range finder and the distances were within 1 to 4 yards of each other every time. I get almost 2 full rounds on one battery charge. The battery lost power on hole 17 of the 2nd round. It is also very comfortable to wear.

Easy to use and accurate
very accurate yardage. I had a hand help gps, but left it in the cart. Having a watch gps, now that's hard to lose. I played with the watch and it was wonderful. The only drawback was the cord to recharge it. It has a clip attatchment to the watch. Has to be just right to get it charged. I have noticed that the gps gadgets take a long time to recharge and they should come up with a quick charge like a phone and use a different type of plug to charge instead of the clip. buy this watch, it is easy and accurate.

Sync is a Pain in the butt
The GPS unit itself did what I needed. I agree with other comment that the battery life is no good. The most disapointing thing is the sync process, first my antivirus would not allow the download as it detected a virus, the registration took 45 minutes and never completed and I had to purchase a plan BUT it would never add to the cart. Just completed the paperwork to send it back and exchange for a Garmin with no course plan necessary.

Skycaddie Watch is a bust!
I anxiously awaited the arrival of the Skycaddie watch because it was supposed to be "the most accurate GPS golf watch on the market!" However, I've found it isn't as accurate as my Golflogix app on my iPhone. I was disappointed that my watch was off by 5-10 yards most times. The watch itself looks junky, the face is hard to read in the sun, it takes forever for the courses to show up to select, and the battery life is AWFUL. I barely get a full charge during a single round, and it takes 25% of the battery life just to find a course! Oh and I forgot, you need to pay $49 for a 3 year subscription to all the courses stored in the watch. Not worth it.
